After looking over your blog, I'm honored to receive your compliment for it seems you are quite the photographer among your many talents.

I love nature and I enjoy capturing what I can of it for my own pleasure. Sharing what I see has been a pleasant way to express myself when words escape me, which seems to happen more and more these days.

I'm quite the amateur and my current camera is very basic (I've worn out a few 35mm cams in my day and I kinda miss them--but digital is so convenient and fun too--I'm certainly not as knowledgeable as you seem to be about the details of them), but I still enjoy making the effort to produce a statement of what I see.

I'm glad you appreciated my attempts. Those deer did indeed seem rather content even for a few moments longer after I moved from behind the french doors and stepped out onto the deck to continue shooting them (the BEST way to capture them, imo). They were beautiful--too bad you could not see the rich detail and color in their fur--it was amazing to see!!
