let me know how the air purifier works. air quality is a big issue here.
I pine for a vacuum that good! My friend has a Kirby. It weighs 4 tons. I hate the thing! I had a Rainbow once and I dearly miss it, but heard the Oreck is first-rate as well.
The purifiers are doing the trick. My parrot was sneezing before they were setup, and now she's fine. I can seriously feel a difference in the air...it even smells fresher. I like that it's going to be easier to clean than the one I had before.

My parents have a Kirby, and I'm with you, that's just too heavy even if it IS the cadillac of vacs! I'm truly enjoying my Oreck...it's very lightweight but feels self-propelled, making it so easy to use, AND it actually cleans the floors too, ha!! What I am really enjoying is the bonus gift...the small vac. It is perfectly designed to reach and fit into places that are typically difficult to clean. Ha....I've become a 'cleaning fool' since I got them!!! My poor aching 'bones' are screaming at me though!! Enough already!! :))
