'The Soft Parade'....

"When I was back there in seminary school
There was a person there
Who put forth the proposition
That you can petition the Lord with prayer
Petition the lord with prayer
Petition the lord with prayer
You cannot petition the lord with prayer"!
"Can you give me sanctuary
I must find a place to hide
A place for me to hide
Can you find me soft asylum
I can't make it anymore
The Man is at the door."
('The Soft Parade'--The Doors)

You too?!?! Ya, I often play my fav CDs while driving around (especially when running errands that are tedious). Listening to good music helps take the tension away. Often, I'll have this particular section of that CD set on 'repeat' and, like you, play it over and over...I especially like the ending...kind of an intro into the next song, remember?

This particular little 'rambling'kind of embodies the extremes in his personality, don't you think? One minute he was extroverted and screaming about things that disturbed him, and the next he was withdrawn, vulnerable, and seeking refuge. Amazing!! I have moments when I can totally relate.
